The podcast talks about three main "open" terms. These terms are: open education, open content, and open source. Open education can be defined as the way all people can view or share experiences and knowledge. Open content can be defined as software that people can use freely. Open source can be defined as software that can be modified and then redistributed. Open learning experiences allow for students to learn specific content without physically being enrolled in that school and interacting with the staff. The website provided below gives more information about open source. https://opensource.com/resources/what-open-source
PowerPoint is a very useful tool that has many functions to it. Many people are unaware of the abilities PowerPoint is capable of doing. By working on these assignments in PowerPoint, I have gained a lot of new and useful knowledge. I really like using Powerpoint and learning about the different things located inside PowerPoint. My new favorite action is a non-linear PowerPoint. I think it's really cool that PowerPoints are capable of jumping around from slide to slide by clicking on certain things. I made a Jeopardy game for one of my assignments and I'm really excited to show it to people!
